Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This policy applies to donations and any payments made to Divyajyot Eye Hospital or Pragati Health and Educational Society through authorized channels.

1. Charitable Donations

Donations are intended to support the society's charitable objectives, including eye camps, eye examinations and assistance for eligible patients. Donors should verify the amount and recipient details before completing a donation.

Requests to cancel or refund a donation will be reviewed individually, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction. Duplicate payments, incorrect transactions or verified payment-processing errors may be reviewed for correction or refund.

2. Hospital and Medical Service Payments

Refunds or cancellations relating to consultations, investigations, medicines, glasses, procedures or other hospital services are subject to the hospital's applicable billing and cancellation rules, the services already provided, and applicable law.

Patients should contact the hospital's authorized administrative or billing team for clarification.

Please provide the following information when contacting us:

  • Name of the donor or person who made the payment.

  • Date and amount of the transaction.

  • Transaction reference or receipt number.

  • Reason for the refund request.

  • Contact details for follow-up.

For security, do not email full card numbers, banking passwords, PINs or OTPs.
