Pragati Health and Educational Society is a charitable organization associated with Divyajyot Eye Hospital, established with the objective of providing accessible eye care and treatment to poor, needy, elderly and vulnerable people, particularly those living in rural and underserved communities.
Many people experience preventable vision loss because they cannot afford eye examinations, medicines, glasses or surgery. Our organization works to address these challenges through charitable eye camps, free eye check-ups, school screening programmes and free or subsidized treatment for eligible patients. Divyajyot Eye Hospital provides specialized eye care and surgical services through its eye-care team and hospital facilities. The society also works with schools, community organizations, social welfare groups and concerned citizens to identify people who need eye care but face financial difficulties. We welcome cooperation from NGOs, social welfare organizations, donors and community members who share our commitment to better vision and improved quality of life. Our belief: Every person deserves the opportunity to receive appropriate eye care, regardless of financial background.
To organize free eye check-up camps in rural and underserved communities. To provide affordable and charitable eye consultations and treatment for eligible patients. To facilitate timely diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and other eye conditions. To promote regular eye examinations among schoolchildren. To identify children who need glasses, further evaluation or medical attention and guide their families toward appropriate care. To support elderly people, economically
To create a society in which every person, regardless of financial or social background, has access to quality eye care and the opportunity to live with better vision. We aspire to reduce avoidable blindness, improve awareness of eye health, and build healthier communities through charitable service, education and cooperation.
