DIVYAJYOT EYE HOSPITAL

Pragati Health and Educational Society
Pragati Health and Educational Society was established with the main motive of providing free eye care and treatment on charitable basis to the poor, needy, older and helpless population of the Mewat region particularly in the rural areas. The charitable activities include:
Arranging of free eye camps for the poor, needy, old and helpless patients with eye ailments particularly in rural areas. Several camps have been organized by the society in different areas, there specialist eye surgeons check up and advise treatment to the public.

First Phase:Screening

On the day of the screening camp, a team of Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, ward boys and Lab. Technician reach the site. Cataract patients are screened out at their routine investigations are carried out on the same day. Patients are given preoperative medications and date of surgery for the coming week in a divided manner approximately 15 surgeries/day.

02.

Second Phase : Surgeries

The patients are transferred in an ambulance to the main centre in the morning everyday.
Surgeries are performed during the day in the O. T. using strict aseptic precautions.
